CSAP Now Available!
The CSAP was collaboratively developed with participation from more than 200 stakeholders representing the four Es (Engineering, Education, law Enforcement, and Emergency services). The plan identifies priority projects for each county to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries. We appreciate your participation and input!
CSAP Slated for SPAG Board of Directors Adoption in May.
SPAG’s Board of Directors is anticipated to adopt the CSAP at its May meeting, clearing the way for SPAG cities and counties to do the same. All member entities interested in pursuing grant funding—or interested in being eligible to pursue grant funding—are encouraged to formally adopt the CSAP through their governing bodies to satisfy this discretionary grant program prerequisite.
Act Now to Pursue FY25 SS4A Grant Funding!
Adopting the CSAP satisfies the Action Plan requirement of the U.S. DOT’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) federal discretionary grant program, enabling members to pursue funding for project implementation.* The fiscal year 2025 (FY25) notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) opened on March 31, with applications due June 26, 2025. Learn more about SS4A application requirements here.
*Please note that an eligible CSAP is just one of the many elements required for an SS4A application, and developing a compliant and competitive grant application requires months of advance planning.
